1st Annual HSSI Applefest Parade Info

Murphysboro Applefest Parade, Sat. September 13th, 11am The Murphysboro Apple Festival is the longest, continuous running festival in southern Illinois, featuring the largest parade in our region! Many people joined together to volunteer to walk dogs, carry signs, pass out goodies to the crowd. We really enjoyed and the dogs enjoyed as well and we hope to do it again next year. It did get a bit hot and tiresome for some dogs and we pulled half out early. I think next year we may try to get an actual float so everyone can ride.
