ANIMAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

The Humane Society started the animal sponsorship program in January 2005 with the hopes that we would raise more funds to help us provide better care for the animals in our adoption program. All proceeds collected from the sponsorship will be used solely for the health and care of the sponsored animal.

**ALL SPONSORS WILL RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING**

  • A 4x6 color photo of the animal you wish to sponsor
  • A biography of the animal you wish to sponsor
  • Updates on the sponsored animal via email (an email address must be provided for this option)
  • A certificate of appreciation from the shelter staff and animals
  • The shelter will place a sign on your sponsored animal's door indicating that you are providing sponsorship for that particular animal as well as post information on our website stating that you have provided sponsorship for the animal
  • You will also receive the option to have your name added to our shelter's newsletter mailing list.

All sponsors are encouraged to come out to the shelter and spend time with their sponsored animal. For any further questions regarding this program, please email us.

SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE OPTIONS

(Package #1) $10- Cat Playtime Package- This package will give your sponsored cat the following toys:

  • 4 toys from our $0.50 cat toy bins

(Package #2) $15- Dog Playtime Package- This package will give your sponsored dog the following toys and goodies:

  • 1 Stuffed Toy
  • 1 Tennis Ball
  • 1 Rope Toy
  • 2 Pressed Rawhide Bones

Playtime is very important for shelter animals. It helps to stimulate their minds and exercise their bodies. Playtime also prevents depression and boredom. All toys come from our shelter's toy display.

(Package #3) $25- Microchip Sponsor Package

This package will help our shelter cover the cost of a microchip for the sponsored animal of your choice. (Please note that we are only able to provide the microchip service for animals currently in our adoption program). Every animal that is adopted through our facility is required by law to be microchipped. The microchip provides another way of rehoming a lost or stolen animal with it's guardian(s).

 

(Package #4) $70- Spay/Neuter Sponsor

The Spay/Neuter package will cover the cost of a spay or neuter for an animal currently available for adoption at the Humane Society. Shelter animals have a much higher chance of finding a new home faster if they are already spayed or neutered.

(Package #5) $100- Shelter Health Package

This package helps us provide the necessary required testing and vaccinations for a shelter animal of your choice as well as the microchip fee.

Cats will receive- Feline Leukemia/FIV test, Feline Distemper Vaccination, Rabies Vaccination, Flea preventative, and Deworming.

Dogs will receive- Heartworm Test, Canine Distemper Vaccination, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies Vaccination, Heartworm and Flea preventative, and Deworming.

(Package #6) $200- Animal Wellness Package

This package provides everything listed in all of the packages above to a shelter cat or dog of your choice.
